Scope of supply
Pump supplied with bare shaft pump with motor, in horizontal design, painted to plant standard, sealed by a soft-packed stuffing box or by a mechanical sea, without coupling. (Electric Pump)

Pump description
The close-coupled centrifugal electric pump is designed for the pumping of cold water or any clear liquids which do not contain solids and are not corrosive, abrasive or explosive when in contact with the pump motor unit and its working parts
The SEN pump is a close-coupled single-stage centrifugal electric pump with an axial inlet and a vertical outlet. The dimensions of the volute pump casing, the suction and discharge diameters, and the casing feet correspond to the standards: DIN 24255 and NF EN 733.
Construction features

Noise
According to ISO 3746
Attention must be given to the exposure of personnel to the noise, and local legislation will define when guidance to personnel on noise limitation in required, and when noise exposure reduction is mandatory. This is typically 80 to 85 dBA.
The usual approach is to control the exposure time to the noise or to enclose the machine to reduce emitted sound.
You may have already specified a limiting noise level when the equipment was ordered, however if no noise requirement were defined, then attention is drawn to the following table to given an indication of equipment noise level so that you can take the appropriate action in your plant.
Pump noise level is dependent on a number of operational factors, flow rate, pipework design and acoustic characteristics of the building, and so the values given are subject to a 3 dBA tolerance and cannot be guaranteed.
