General Description
The pumps are Single-casing, radially split, multistage, between-bearings pumps shall be designated pump type BB4. These pumps are also called ring-section pumps, segmental-ring pumps or tie-rod pumps.
These pumps have a potential leakage path between each segment.
(This type does not meet all the requirements of this International Standard API610.)
The advanced modular design reduces the number of parts whilst maximising interchangeability. 
Optimal selection of impeller diameter and diffuser size for each ensures that the pump closely match the required duty conditions.

Design Features
Horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps of ring-section design. The pump mainly consists of suction casing, discharge casing, stage casing, diffuser, impeller, rotor unit, bearing unit, balance shaft seal component.
> Hydraulic models: Each pump size has two or more different types of hydraulic models, which have high efficiency over a wide range, and the best hydraulic model can be selected based on different operating conditions.
> Stage casing: The stage casing is sealed against each other by o-rings or by metal compound gaskets and are secured together by tie bolts.
> Balancing parts: The axial thrust force produced by impellers are mostly balanced by balancing drum and the residual thrust force is absorbed by thrust bearings.
> Support structures: Normally the pumps are designed with feet below. When liquid temperature >150, pump
size up to DN80 and above are supported by pump center-line.
> Bearings: The anti-friction roller bearing lubricated by oil is reliable and durable. Sleeve bearing could be selected. The bearing house could be cooled by fan or by water.
> Shaft sealing: The shaft sealing could be soft packing or mechanical seals depending on the conveying liquid. The shaft seal box could be cooled by water.
> Nozzles: The suction and discharge flanges have different pressure rate. Normally the discharge branch is posed upward and the suction one could be in any position (left, right or upward) by request. For centerline- mounted pumps, the suction branch and discharge branch are both upward.
> Pump flange standard: DIN2501, ISO7005, ASME B16.5.
> Bearings: Combination of cylindrical roller bearings and conical roller bearings, lubricated by engine oil 
> Shaft seal: Mechanical seal.
> Coupling: The motor driven the pump through the flexibly coupling directly.
> Notes: All pump sizes can be provided with one or more dummy stages, if required.

Operation Conditions
Fluid: Various clean liquid or liquid containing solid particles, neuter or corrosive liquid, Maximum solids content of the liquid pumped 40mg/L, 80mg/L with intermittent operation.
> Working Temperature Range:  -50ºC ~ + 210ºC.   
When working temperature exceeds 80ºC,shall clarify clearly and in advance.
 

> Operating pressure:
PN6 MPa - Hydrostatic test pressure = PN9 MPa
PN10 MPa - Hydrostatic test pressure = PN 15MPa
PN13 MPa - Hydrostatic test pressure = PN 20MPa
PN15 MPa - Hydrostatic test pressure = PN 22.5MPa (optional)
