General Description
HB series pumps are designed for high temperature and high pressure working conditions, especially for conditions intended to suffering thermal shock.
The pump operates more reliably when pumping flammable or hazardous liquid with higher pressure.
Design Features
Double-casing, radially split, multistage, between-bearings pumps (barrel pumps) be designated pump
type BB5 (API610 BB5).
> Hydraulic models: Each pump size has two or three types of hydraulic model, the best efficient hydraulic model can be selected for different operating conditions.
> Barrel casing: Double casing, back pull out construction, and the inner casing are section-ring casings.
- The barrel casing center-line mounted with positioning pin in the bottom.
- Cast steel should be used when pressure is greater than 15.0 MPa.
> Suction and discharge flanges: ISO7005, AMSE B16.5, DIN and DIN-EN flange standard available.
> Pump casing external nozzle forces and moments: The suction and discharge nozzles with same pressure grade are vertically arranged. Allowable nozzle loading compile with API610.
NOTES: 2 x API610 nozzle load option available.
> Axial force balance: The balancing drum balances most of the hydraulic axial forces. The remaining axial force is borne by the bearings.
> Support structures: Heavy duty shaft design and bearing support having heavy duty carrying capability, roller bearing with oil ring lubricated, water cooled, or sliding bearings with forced oil circulation.
> Shaft sealing: The shaft sealing chamber compiles with API 682 specifications. Single, double or tandem cartridge type mechanical seals are available. The pressure in seal chamber is only the same as suction.
Technical advantages VS Type BB4 Pumps
The pump has its own superiorities compared with BB4 type pumps.
> Higher pressure ability: Only the barrel and casing cover withstand the discharge pressure, the leaking ways is minimized.
> Minimized heat shock and deformation: Both the inner casings and the rotors are surrounded by pumped liquid and uniformly heated. The pump evenly permit start-up without preheating on high temperature operating conditions.
> Easy disassemble and maintenance: The inner unit including the casings and rotors can be removed entirely from the barrel without disassembling the piping lines.
> Excellent safety: When pumping hazardous liquids, the leaking is minimized due to the barrel.
Operation Conditions
Fluid: Various clean liquid or liquid containing solid particles, neuter or corrosive liquid, liquids with a solid content not exceeding 40mg/L.
> Working Temperature Range: -80ºC to 450ºC
When working temperature exceeds 80ºC,shall clarify clearly and in advance.
> Operating pressure:
PN25.0 MPa - Hydrostatic test pressure = PN37.5 MPa.
